Esther A. N. Cobbah

Esther is the Chief Executive Officer of Strategic Communications Africa Ltd (Stratcomm Africa). She is also a Director of Centre for the Development and Intercultural Communication (CEDIC), a non-profit organization. In addition to her first degree at the University of Ghana, Legon, she has also earned graduate degrees in Communications in the School of Communications Studies from both the University of Ghana, Legon and Cornell University.

Esther has worked as a consultant for numerous organizations in a variety of sectors, and in each case has developed and implemented effective communication strategies to support their work.

She has a keen understanding of the value of effective communication processes for national development and she is constantly exploring effective communications strategies to promote innovation and enhance public awareness. She has won numerous local and international awards for her work in business and the communication industry.

Gillian Heathcote

Gillian Heathcote has over 20 years experience in Journalism, Public Relations, Media Relations, Marketing, Events Management, and Advertising.

She holds a bachelors degree in entrepreneurship as well as a Diploma in Journalism from the Ghana Institute of Journalism (GIJ) and has also trained at the International Institute of Journalism, Berlin (IIJB).

Her vast experience in corporate communications and her immense professional knowledge of the media add to the professional strength of Stratcomm Africa, where she manages the Stratcomm Africa Communication Team.

Kwame Baah-Boakye

Kwame Baah-Boakye has extensive knowledge and experience in organisational Behaviour, International Business Communication, Economics, Global Marketing and International Trade.

He holds a B.Sc. In Business Administration from Drexel University, and has previously worked with ERL Systems Ghana, Siemens Medical Solutions Philadelphia, General Dynamics Information Technologies Virginia, among others.

Kwame currently heads the Operations department of Stratcomm Africa where he ensures processes and procedures are adhered to for efficient delivery of work and maximum client satisfaction.

Michael Gefu

Michael J. Y. Gefu is a Chartered Accountant and a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Ghana. He has over ten years working experience in Accounting, Auditing, Financial Management, Human Resources and Project Management.

Michael holds an MBA in Accounting and Finance and a Bachelor of Science degree in Banking and Finance. Michael worked with several organizations including Ghana Ports and Harbours Authority in Takoradi, Ecobank Takoradi Branch, Metro Mass Transit as an Accountant, i-Com Solutions, Spaklean Company Limited (a property and facility management firm), as a Finance Manager.

He is currently the Senior Finance Manager at Strategic Communications Africa Limited. Michael is a business minded person and has passion for internal controls and tax planning.

Kofi Baah-Boakye

Kofi Baah-Boakye holds a Bachelors Degree in Communications and Rhetorical Studies from Syracuse University, New York where he specialized in Psychology, Public Advocacy, Small Group Communication, Intercultural Communication and International Relations.

Kofi heads Stratcomm Africa Business Development department, which serves as an interface between Stratcomm Africa and its clients, ensuring mutually beneficial relationships between the organisation and its stakeholders. He is involved in the development and implementation of strategies covering market research and analysis of trends to determine new opportunities for the organisation and its clients. He also oversees the implementation of internal strategies that contribute to the overall efficiency of the organisation with a focus on quality control and client delivery.

Kofi previously worked with the Business Development Department of The Conti Group, an Infrastructure development company in New Jersey, USA as a Market Research Analyst. He subsequently worked with Conti Ghana as a Business Development Officer, supporting the team to set up its Ghana operations in preparation for a $600 million sanitation and drainage job in Accra. Kofi was responsible for supporting in the implementation of Conti Ghana’s penetration strategy and identifying new opportunities for the Company’s initiatives.

Richmond Sarfo

Richmond Sarfo Kofi is the Assistant Project Management & Administration Manager of Stratcomm Africa. Richmond holds a Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Economics from the University of Ghana, an MBA in Project Management from the Wisconsin International University College, and a certificate in Project Management from Ghana Institute of Management & Public Administration (GIMPA).

He has expertise in plan development, setting up of key performance indicators, monitoring & evaluation, capacity building as well as coaching and mentoring. He is very analytical and efficiency driven. He has worked with a variety of multinationals which has really sharpened his leadership skills over the years.

Eric Mensah-Ayettey

Eric Mensah-Ayettey brings on board 20 years of experience in Broadcast Journalism, Public Relations and Administration Practice. Eric has significant experience with development of communications materials both for corporate and social development purposes having worked on similar assignments in the past

Prior to joining the Stratcomm Africa Team, Eric held positions as Assistant Head of news and Head of News of Radio Gold He also worked in various capacities at the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Ghana such as Public Relations Officer, Senior Public Relations Officer, Ag. Secretary to Council and Secretary to the Governing Board.

These roles exposed him widely to Ghana’s health sector making him abreast with the key issues in the sector to which he contributed through communications to address. These roles with the Midwifery Council also provided Eric a lot of public sector experience.

Eric holds a Master of Arts Degree in Public Affairs and a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Administration, Diploma in Journalism and a Certificate in Public Relations, Advertising and Marketing. His experience over the years has enabled him to engage with stakeholders across a wide range of sectors and built a strong relationship with the media.

Clement Atagra

Clement Atagra has more than 13 years’ cumulative experience in strategic communications and mainstream journalism. He provides strategic reputation management and advisory services and leads advocacy for various clients in different sectors. They range from global mining, oil and gas, aviation, banking, educational and telecommunications sectors among others.

Clement has worked on several accounts including Anglogold Ashanti, Emirates, Karpowership, AGM Petroleum, IFC, UT Bank and MTN. He has been mainly responsible for the development of Communication Strategies and Plans. Clement has gained extensive experience in the areas of stakeholder engagements, crisis communication and reputation management. His work on several accounts has also exposed him to a wide range of industries and industry stakeholders.

Clement is a trained journalist with a Degree and Diploma in Communication Studies from the Ghana Institute of Journalism and Certificate in Oil and Gas from the Central University College. His six years of experience in the various facets of journalism exposed him to reporting on such areas as Parliament, activities of the Appointments Committee of Parliament in 2009 and the Transitional Arrangements in 2009.

Emmanuel Kentor

Emmanuel is a Communications Specialist with several years’ experience in Community Relations, Behaviour Change and Development Communication. He develops innovative materials for behaviour change and development projects. Formative research, community stakeholder engagement and community mobilization sensitisation and education are also part of his range of expertise.

Prior to joining Stratcomm Africa, Emmanuel was as a resource person for Lead Consultancy Services, where he acted as a Public Relations specialist and event organizer. He has also worked with the Metropolitan Life Insurance Ghana as a Sales Executive and served as Administrative Assistant in the communications unit for Newmont Ghana Gold Ltd.

Isaac Haizel

Isaac Haizel leads our team of experienced researchers in quantitative, qualitative, market, communication and, brand research, mystery shopping studies, media monitoring and analysis, research for Corporate Social Responsibility as well as training of numerators for research projects of Stratcomm Africa’s vast array of clients.

With a deep seated passion for his field, Isaac has been involved in high level projects for clients such as Forever Clear Skin and Beauty Clinic, International Labour Organisation (ILO), Rural Agricultural Finance Programme (RAFiP), National Communications Authority (NCA), and Access Bank amongst others.
