Professor S. K. Adjepong is the immediate past Vice Chancellor of the University of Cape Coast, and is a physicist by profession. He is the President of the first Methodist University in Ghana, and Chairman of the African Peer Review Governing Council in Ghana.

Dr. Josiah Alfred Mills Cobbah

Dr Cobbah brings to Stratcomm Africa his experience in development planning, Adult Education, Multiculturalism and Project management. He is a corporate administrator and academic with a strong interest in issues of management within multicultural settings.

He taught for many years in universities in the U.S. before coming back to Ghana to be involved in the start-up of Westel Ghana, the country’s second licensed telecommunications network operator, which involved the U.S. company, Western Wireless. After eight years as Deputy Managing Director of Westel, he served as lecturer and Head of Administration at the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA).

He is currently the Pro Vice-Chancellor of the Laweh Open University College in Nungua-Accra, a Senior Partner at the Fidelity Law Group in Accra and serves on the boards of other companies such as Vodafone Ghana.

Karen Akiwumi Tanoh

Ms. Akiwumi-Tanoh is a Chartered Accountant with a BSC Degree in Business Administration and a qualification from the Institute of Chartered Accountants, England and Wales (ICAEW). She is currently Chairman of First Atlantic Bank after 22 years of working with the Ecobank Group, having been one of the pioneers of Ecobank (Ghana).

She is also Director of the Advisory Board at Spenser Stuart (SA). As Stratcomm Africa is currently expanding its footprint into other countries in Africa, the experience of Ms. Akiwumi-Tanoh across the continent as well as her finance, banking and accounting skills will be invaluable for the growth of the company.

Joshua Apeadu Siaw

Joshua Apeadu-Siaw is a Corporate Lawyer and Director of the Africa Practice of the leading global law firm, White & Case LLP. His experience includes advising banks and other financial institutions in relation to cross-border project development and finance transactions as well as general bank lending with particular emphasis on the emerging markets, particularly Africa. He is responsible for coordinating White & Case’s Africa business and strategy.

Peter Amissah

Peter Amissah is a seasoned administrator and lawyer and currently practices law, after having worked for many years in the Public Sector. He has a passion for working to ensure social justice, a characteristic, which is in line with the values of Stratcomm Africa. He is very knowledgeable in the workings of Government Ministries, Departments and Agencies.

Sebastian Asem

Sebastian Asem is the Chief Executive of Vihama Energy Company Limited, a Bulk Distribution Company in the Oil industry. Until May 2010, he was the Acting Managing Director of Access Bank Ghana Limited from which he resigned to pursue his passion, farming.

He holds an MBA in Finance from University of Ghana, Legon, a Certificate in Negotiation from Harvard Business School, Cambridge Massachusetts, a Diploma in Oil Trading, Supply and Marketing from Oxford Princeton School UK, and a Bachelor of Science in Tourism from the University of Cape Coast.

Esther A. N. Cobbah

Esther is the Chief Executive Officer of Strategic Communications Africa Ltd (Stratcomm Africa). She is also a Director of Centre for the Development and Intercultural Communication (CEDIC), a non-profit organization. In addition to her first degree at the University of Ghana, Legon, she has also earned graduate degrees in Communications in the School of Communications Studies from both the University of Ghana, Legon and Cornell University.

Esther has worked as a consultant for numerous organizations in a variety of sectors, and in each case has developed and implemented effective communication strategies to support their work.

She has a keen understanding of the value of effective communication processes for national development and she is constantly exploring effective communications strategies to promote innovation and enhance public awareness. She has won numerous local and international awards for her work in business and the communication industry.

Dufie Addo

Dufie Addo is the CFO of mPharma Data Inc., an emerging market pharmacy benefits manager. Prior to that she worked as an Investment Officer at the Washington State Investment Board, an Investment Banking analyst with Lehman Brothers and the International Finance Corporation, and a Management Consultant with AngloGold Ashanti and Vodacom Congo, where she acted as a member of the Board.

She holds an MS in Chemical Engineering from Stanford University, and a BA in Chemistry and Mathematics from Mount Holyoke College.
